Your Mission

As a Vendor Acquisition Specialist, you will be crucial in broadening our vendor base, ensuring we work with partners who reflect our mission and values. You will:

      Identify & Engage new vendors who align with our organizational standards.

      Build & Nurture relationships with potential and current vendors to foster loyalty and growth.

      Negotiate Terms to optimize cost, quality, and vendor commitment to our service goals.

      Collaborate across departments to create impactful outreach and onboarding initiatives.

      Strategize & Adapt based on market trends, ensuring our vendor partnerships stay competitive and beneficial.

      Build & Manage a dynamic database of potential vendors, capturing critical details on offerings, pricing, and terms to drive strategic partnerships and informed decisions.

      Drive Success by setting and achieving sales targets and quotas that align with our growth objectives, ensuring consistent performance and impactful results.

      Streamline Onboarding in collaboration with the vendor relationship team, ensuring a smooth transition for new vendors and providing continuous support to foster strong, lasting partnerships.

 

What You’ll Need

      A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field

      Restaurant background preferred but not required

      Proven experience in product or service sales with knowledge of procurement, contract negotiation, and vendor management

      Strong multitasking abilities with a proactive, solution-focused approach in high-paced settings with excellent follow up and follow through skills.

      Excellent interpersonal skills to build trust and navigate complex conversations

COMPENSATION


This is a full-time position, working regular business hours (M – F, 8am to 5pm).

 

Salary Range: $55,000 to $65,000

Incentive Compensation: 8-10% of salary

 

PTO, 10 holidays, 3% 401k Safe Harbor Non-Elective (after 6 months), company paid health insurance, vision, and dental (immediate). Additional discretional time off given during the year – exact dates are subject to change annually.
