Account Executive

RESPONSIBILITIES

Our Account Executive is driven, professional, and personable. The job responsibilities include:

  • Identifying and prospecting potential school clients, including private and charter institutions.
  • Conducting product demonstrations and presentations to key decision-makers, highlighting the benefits and features of our lunch service software.
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to develop targeted outreach campaigns and materials, tailoring messaging to resonate with the educational sector.
  • Building and nurturing relationships with school administrators and other key stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor in meeting their lunch program needs.
  • Coordinating with the account management team to ensure a seamless onboarding process for new clients, providing ongoing support and guidance as needed.
  • Staying informed about industry trends and competitor offerings, adapting strategies accordingly.
  • Achieving monthly/quarterly revenue targets through acquiring new accounts.

This is a remote full-time position, working regular business hours (M – F, 8am to 5pm). Some travel for team retreats and sales conferences may be required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 3+ years experience in B2B sales or business development, experience in the education sector a plus
  • Proven ability to expand customer accounts by winning new partnerships
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Business acumen
  • Tech savvy (CRM, cloud, Microsoft Suite, etc.)
  • Results-oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Deep understanding of CRM systems and best practices
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

COMPENSATION
$60,000 base salary with a target incentive of 27% of base salary.

PTO, 10 holidays, 3% 401k Safe Harbor Non-Elective (after 6 months), company paid health insurance, vision, and dental (immediate). Additional discretional time off given during the year – exact dates are subject to change annually.
